1. PURPOSE
This Immigration Eligibility Disclaimer applies to the immigration eligibility assessment available through:
irelandimmigrationcheck.com
The assessment is operated by Career Ireland Seirbhísí Limited, trading as CareerIreland ("CareerIreland", "we", "us" or "our").
The assessment is designed to provide an indicative assessment of potential immigration eligibility based on the information supplied by the user.
2. PRIVATE INDEPENDENT SERVICE
CareerIreland is an independent private company.
CareerIreland is not:
- the Irish Government;
- Immigration Service Delivery (ISD);
- the Department of Justice;
- an Irish embassy or consulate;
- an official visa authority; or
- another Irish Government immigration authority.
The Website and eligibility assessment are privately operated.
A reference to, or link to, an Irish Government website does not mean that CareerIreland is affiliated with or endorsed by that authority.
The official Irish Immigration Service is operated by the Department of Justice, Home Affairs and Migration.
3. WHAT THE ASSESSMENT PROVIDES
The eligibility assessment uses information supplied by the user to provide an indicative result based on the criteria and information applicable to the assessment.
Depending on the assessment, the result may indicate:
- a potentially relevant immigration route;
- factors that may support eligibility;
- factors that may affect eligibility;
- areas requiring further consideration; or
- that the available information does not indicate a suitable route.
The result is intended as an initial informational assessment.
4. THE RESULT IS NOT AN OFFICIAL DECISION
An assessment result is not:
- an immigration decision;
- a visa decision;
- an employment-permit decision;
- a residence decision;
- a citizenship decision;
- a naturalisation decision;
- an official eligibility certificate;
- an immigration permission; or
- an approval from an Irish Government authority.
Only the relevant competent authority can make the applicable official immigration decision.
5. NO GUARANTEE OF ELIGIBILITY
A result indicating that you may be eligible does not guarantee that you:
- satisfy every legal requirement;
- satisfy every documentary requirement;
- will qualify when a complete application is assessed;
- will receive an immigration permission;
- will receive a visa;
- will obtain an employment permit;
- will obtain citizenship or naturalisation; or
- will receive any other immigration outcome.
The relevant authority may consider additional information, evidence, policies, procedures and circumstances when determining an application.
6. A NEGATIVE RESULT IS NOT A FINAL DETERMINATION
A result indicating that you may not qualify does not necessarily mean that no immigration route is available to you.
The assessment can only consider:
- the information you provide;
- the criteria incorporated into the relevant assessment; and
- the functionality available at the time of the assessment.
Different immigration routes may involve different requirements.
7. USER-PROVIDED INFORMATION
The accuracy of an assessment depends substantially on the information provided by the user.
You are responsible for ensuring that information submitted is:
- accurate;
- complete;
- current; and
- not misleading.
If information is incorrect, incomplete or omitted, the resulting assessment may be inaccurate.
8. DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE
An online eligibility assessment does not necessarily verify all documents or evidence required for an immigration application.
A person may appear potentially eligible based on the information supplied but still be unable to satisfy a particular requirement when supporting documentation is reviewed.
The relevant authority may require additional evidence.
9. IMMIGRATION LAW AND POLICY CAN CHANGE
Irish immigration legislation, regulations, Government policies, administrative procedures and eligibility requirements may change.
The criteria used by the assessment may therefore require updating when official requirements change.
A result obtained at one point in time should not automatically be treated as applicable to a later application.
The Irish Immigration Service publishes updates to immigration policies and requirements, including changes to particular immigration routes.
10. CURRENT OFFICIAL REQUIREMENTS
Where an immigration decision is important to you, you should review the current requirements published by the relevant Irish Government authority.
CareerIreland may provide links to official sources for verification.
Official sources remain authoritative for Government requirements and application procedures.
11. ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
The assessment is based on criteria configured for the relevant assessment.
The criteria may include information relating to matters such as:
- nationality;
- residence;
- employment;
- occupation;
- salary;
- qualifications;
- family circumstances;
- immigration history;
- residence history;
- citizenship or naturalisation circumstances; and
- other information relevant to the particular assessment.
The criteria will vary depending on the immigration route being assessed.
12. AUTOMATED PROCESSING
The assessment may use automated technology, including AI, algorithms or rules-based processing.
Automated processing may assist in:
- analysing information;
- comparing information against configured criteria;
- identifying potentially relevant routes;
- generating preliminary results; and
- presenting explanations.
Further information about automated and AI-supported processing is provided in the AI & Automated Eligibility Assessment Disclaimer.
13. AI LIMITATIONS
Where AI is used as part of the assessment or related functionality, its output may contain:
- errors;
- omissions;
- incorrect interpretations;
- incomplete information; or
- outdated information.
AI-generated information should therefore not be treated as an official determination or as a substitute for checking current official requirements.
14. HUMAN REVIEW
An automated assessment result does not necessarily mean that a CareerIreland consultant has individually reviewed every response before the result is provided.
Where you require discussion of your circumstances, you may be able to book a consultation with CareerIreland.
A consultation is a separate paid service and is governed by the applicable Consultation Booking & Payment Terms.
15. CONSULTATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN OUTCOME
A consultation following an eligibility assessment does not guarantee:
- eligibility;
- visa approval;
- employment-permit approval;
- residence;
- citizenship;
- naturalisation; or
- any other immigration outcome.
The relevant authority remains responsible for the official decision.
16. NO GOVERNMENT APPLICATION IS SUBMITTED
Completing an eligibility assessment does not, by itself, submit an application to:
- Immigration Service Delivery;
- the Department of Justice;
- a visa office;
- an employment-permit authority;
- an embassy or consulate; or
- another Government authority.
The assessment is a separate informational service.
17. NO IMMIGRATION PERMISSION IS CREATED
Completing an assessment or receiving a positive result does not create:
- a right to enter Ireland;
- a right to remain in Ireland;
- an immigration permission;
- a visa;
- an employment permit;
- citizenship; or
- naturalisation status.
18. NO GUARANTEE OF APPLICATION SUCCESS
CareerIreland cannot guarantee that an application made following an assessment or consultation will be successful.
The outcome of an application may depend on matters including:
- the complete application;
- supporting documents;
- evidence;
- Government policy;
- the applicant's circumstances;
- information available to the relevant authority; and
- the decision-making process of the competent authority.
19. THIRD-PARTY INFORMATION
The assessment may rely on information derived from publicly available sources or other information incorporated into the relevant assessment.
CareerIreland seeks to use appropriate information but does not guarantee that every external source will remain current or complete.
Where a requirement is important, users should verify it against the current official source.
20. LINKS TO OFFICIAL SOURCES
CareerIreland may provide links to official Irish Government websites.
Such links are provided to assist users in verifying information.
CareerIreland does not control the content or availability of external Government websites.
The inclusion of a Government link does not constitute Government endorsement, affiliation or approval of CareerIreland.
21. NO LEGAL OR OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT DETERMINATION
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a specific service, the eligibility assessment is intended to provide informational guidance.
It should not be treated as:
- a formal legal determination;
- a Government determination;
- an immigration officer's decision;
- a visa officer's decision; or
- an official assessment issued by an Irish authority.
22. USER'S RESPONSIBILITY
Users remain responsible for:
- checking their information before submission;
- reviewing their assessment result;
- obtaining supporting documentation where required;
- checking current official requirements;
- making their own application decisions; and
- ensuring that any application submitted to an authority is accurate and complete.
23. FRAUDULENT OR MISLEADING INFORMATION
Users must not deliberately provide false, misleading or fabricated information to obtain a particular assessment result.
An assessment result based on inaccurate information should not be relied upon.
Official Irish immigration guidance also warns applicants against submitting false or misleading information or documentation.
24. CHANGES TO THE ASSESSMENT
CareerIreland may modify:
- assessment questions;
- assessment criteria;
- available immigration routes;
- scoring or evaluation methodology;
- Website functionality;
- AI or automated technology; or
- other assessment features.
Changes may be necessary because of:
- changes in immigration requirements;
- changes in Government policy;
- technology updates;
- corrections;
- service improvements; or
- other operational requirements.
25. TEMPORARY UNAVAILABILITY
The eligibility assessment may occasionally be unavailable because of:
- maintenance;
- technical problems;
- updates;
- security measures;
- third-party service interruptions; or
- circumstances outside CareerIreland's reasonable control.
26. PERSONAL INFORMATION
Information submitted through the eligibility assessment may contain personal information.
CareerIreland processes such information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
The assessment may request information relevant to determining potential eligibility.
Users should not submit unnecessary personal or sensitive information.
27. YOUR ASSESSMENT RESULT
You should consider the assessment result as an initial indication rather than a final determination.
If the result identifies a potentially suitable route, you should review the applicable official requirements before taking action.
If the result identifies potential eligibility concerns, you may wish to consider whether another immigration route or further professional review is appropriate.
28. IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR USERS
Before relying on your result:
Check the current official immigration requirements.
Make sure the information you provided is accurate.
Review the documentary requirements for the relevant route.
Do not treat the assessment result as Government approval.
Do not assume that a positive result guarantees an immigration outcome.
